APOLLO

ABOUT

This three-year-old son of Hardrock Z is a striking young horse in many ways. His sire Hardrock Z, himself a son of the legendary Heartbreaker, is renowned for passing on quality, blood and jumping ability.

On the dam’s side, we find an equally strong foundation. With Contender, Constant, Farnese and Ladykiller, the pedigree features several highly influential stallions that have played an important role in the breeding of numerous international top-level showjumpers.

The strength of this dam line is clearly reflected in sport. This family has already produced several horses competing at the highest level, including Patriot with Wilton Porter, Holly RZH with Luciana Diniz, Charley, who competed at 1.70m level with Doron Kuipers, Eline Maria M at 1.60m with Patrick Lemmen and Elke Maria M at 1.60m with Julia Houtzager. In addition, this line has produced numerous other horses competing successfully at 1.50m and 1.55m level.

Apollo himself is a modern, light-footed and athletic horse. He moves with ease, has a good canter and is able to adjust his stride effortlessly.

Over the fences, his consistency stands out. Jump after jump, he maintains the same technique and attitude, while showing both scope and carefulness.

For anyone looking for a talented young horse from a proven performance family, combined with a pleasant character and all the qualities for a promising future, Apollo represents a very interesting opportunity.
